I used to be happy with Lands End "super tees," but over the years, I guess to maintain their price point, they've gotten lighter and flimsier. What made me think there has to be a better product out there was watching Michael B. Jordan in Fruitvale Station this past weekend. (I wouldn't want such generous sizing, but that's just a matter of ordering something smaller, right?) I'm looking for plain t-shirts in a variety of colors, no graphics. Help?
My husband likes funny-sarcastic and pop culture T-shirts. I have a completely different sense of humor, and a childhood free of TV. The pop culture T-shirts he likes best are a little subtle, like one for the dojo of the bad guys in Karate Kid, or an Abe Froman Sausage King shirt. I get the shirts, once they're explained, but I don't recognize references to be able to buy other similar! Army of Darkness, Monty Python, Batman, etc are other subjects he likes. Engineer jokes are good too. Please, help me find some great shirts!
I run a podcast network, and we're revamping our merchandise. We have no designers on staff, but we have lots of designers in our audiences who love our shows and have great ideas, and we'd like to tap their expertise. I'd like to ask for design idea submissions from designer-listeners on-air without asking for spec work (or seeming to). How, specifically, do we make that call to action - what language should we use? (The work, incidentally, is paid.)
I am looking for higher-end women's t-shirts that drape beautifully and fit great. Where do I find them? A surprising number of details and preferences and constraints inside! [more inside]
I love Print Liberation's t-shirts. But I have all the ones I want (which, sadly, doesn't include many of the current offerings). Who else out there makes awesome t-shirts, maybe like PL's? No twee please.
Does anybody know how/if I can get hold of the t-shirt in this picture (as sported by the boxer Marcos Maidana). The brand is Alfajores Guaymallen, who I think (my Spanish is non-existent) are an Argentinian snack food company.

Last weekend I purchased a uniqueT-shirt at Bangkok's Jatujak/Chatuchak weekend market. I got home and found it's the wrong size. Help me figure out how to find and contact a single vendor out of the 15,000 stalls. [more inside]
I'm a big follower of bot Shirt Woot and Teefury, both are sites that showcase a new t-shirt design a day at around ~$10 a shirt with cheap or free shipping. I recently discovered the existence of Ript Apparel, which is more or less similar to the previous sites. I feel that Woot and Teefury have both gotten a bit too nerd-pandering in recent years, and am interested in new sites. I'm not into T-Shirt Hell or Snorg Tees as they are often text-based designs and I'm not really into pithy jokes on my shirts. Uneetee is more of what I'm looking for, but I'm not too thrilled about their prices. Design By Humans with the daily $15 deal is more of what I'm looking for, though their designs may be a wee bit too artsy, and suffer from the opposite of Woot shirts- their designs cover too much of the shirt. I have a couple of EMS organic cotton graphic T-shirts like these, and I love them. The material is a bit thinner and stretchier than most tees, but still feels very supple and high-quality. Also, the fit is really nice - I particularly like that they're not quite as long as most tees are these days. I'm starting to think about making some graphic tees of my own design, and I'm wondering if there's a way figure out where these come from and get them for my own to use. [more inside]

I'd like to print about 100 t-shirts. The trouble is that the art includes a large image that fills much of the front and wraps around the to about 4 inches on the back of the shirt. The local shop that was recommended to me can't handle a print this large but they say there are those who can.
I've used Adobe products in the past and have been fairly impressed. Now I want to buy an Adobe package to design and generate JPG and EPS files of my relatively simple t-shirt, bumper sticker, and button ideas for emailing to a printing shop. [more inside]
A co-worker of mine is the librarian at the publishing house where I work. She found some librarian "career girl" novels on the net and showed them to me for a laugh. I suggested she take a cover image to a T-shirt shop and have a shirt made. She loved the idea and is going to do it with this image, and put the hilarious excerpt from the book on the back. Now I'm jealous and want a similar shirt that relates to my job. I'm an editor. I doubt they had "career girl" pulp novels about editing back in the day, so what equally cool/kitschy images could I put on my front that relate to editing?

When wearing a T-shirt do you tuck it into your jeans and why? [more inside]
I’ll be launching a new t-shirt site over the next several months and am looking for insight into what makes a good shirt (our fearless leader, for example, likes American Apparel shirts and the designs from Protoculture, nerdnyc and glarkware). So what do you look for? Comfort (cotton? cotton-poly blends?)? Funny or clever slogans (you bet your ass there’s a difference between funny and clever (and witty, too))? Artistic value? Originality? Retro styling (or do you think retro's going back to the grave)? What’s your favorite t-shirt? Where and how did you find the shirt/seller? Please don't get all riled up about "self-linking": I emailed #1 twice for an OK and got no response and of course am not including any link (here or in my profile).
The sleeves on my shirts and jackets have an unfortunate tendency to ride up and wrinkle. What can I do to remedy this?
I stumbled on a site once with a cool brown t-shirt bearing Nina Simone's image, and titled, "The High Priestess of Soul". I'm having a hell of a time finding this site again but I'd really like to order that shirt. Can anyone help me out?
