I'm helping a friend who has started up a new business. We're having trouble getting their e-mail to syncronise across three different devices: a desktop running Windows 7, a laptop running Windows 8 and an Android-based phone, all using IMAP. What are we doing wrong? [more inside]
I have set up an outlook.com account to use as a centralized addressbook, accessible by my other email accounts, devices, partner's devices etc. However I can't make it available to my partner's outlook.com account. [more inside]
I have an iphone and an ipad which I use daily. Due to work policies, my data is setup via Outlook (not Exchange) and synced via iTunes to both devices. I use iCloud to maintain mirrored info for websites, pictures, etc but NOT contacts. I'm getting tired of having to plug both devices in to sync them to the same data. Is there anyway to use iTunes to sync to my phone and then use iCloud to maintain data integrity across to the ipad? Or will this end up giving me duplicates in my Outlook contacts?
I want to do something that seems like it should be straightforward. My company uses awful, awful, awful iOS email/calendar/contacts software called "Good For Enterprise." It syncs with Outlook over-the-air and displays the synced info in a separate (terrible) app. There is no syncing with native email/calendar apps in iOS. How can I get my Windows 7 Outlook calendar onto my iPhone? [more inside]
How can I sync my work Outlook contacts to Thunderbird? [more inside]
I'd like to sync a shared event/appointment calendar with a work colleague, which we both can edit (not just view) on our iMac computers, preferably without having to go to an external website to make edits, or paying for an outside service. Details within. [more inside]
Long time Blackberry user. Stuck with BB because it was so easy to sync with Outlook which I'm tied to by work. My BB crapped out last night (okay I washed it) and I went out and bought a Sprint Android Motorola Photon Q 4GLTE this morning on a whim. Sales lady says it syncs with Outlook no problem. I'm not seeing how. Do I DTMA or can you explain how I sync my Outlook contacts and calendar to this droid? I love you all.

Ack! I just realized my iPhone is syncing my personal G-Calendar to my Outlook work calendar, meaning my coworkers now know when I have doctor appointments, book club meetings, etc.! How do I set up a one-way sync solution so that I can see my work calendar on my iPhone, but my coworkers can't see my personal calendar? [more inside]
Help me learn to love (or at least tolerate) Lotus Notes. Are there any features as a user or administrator you like? [more inside]
iTunes broke my calendar. I can no longer sync Outlook to my iPod Touch because "sync server failed to sync." I can't find an answer to this on iTunes help although I do see that others have had this problem. Any suggestions? I've always done this over a USB cable. Nothing has changed except the calendar won't sync anymore. My iTunes software is up to date. I think Notes and Contacts are syncing -- though I just realized I haven't really tested that. I don't sync music in this operation, I do that from a different machine with different settings.
My wife is about to switch from Blackberry to Motorola Droid. Couple questions after the jump. Thanks! [more inside]

Are there any web based calendars/task management programs that will sync with Outlook or straight to my Pocket PC? I got Sunbird syncing but after using it a while I switched back to Outlook, but I really like the idea of using something like Google Calendar, Backpack or iCommit when I'm at work or at school. I’ve thought about an exchange server account somewhere, but all the places I looked seemed to be pretty pricy for a student budget. Any suggestions?

How to Sync Palm Treo with Outlook 2007 I took the plunge, downloaded the Office 2007 (Beta), and started playing with it. One problem (so far), while you can keep old Office programs on your computer (in case the new ones don't work), the Outlook 2007 Beta required deletion of Outlook 2003. So, now my Treo won't sync anymore. Palmsource's Hotsync Manager 6.01 is not comaptible with Outlook 2007. I do not want to buy the Chapura program. Has anyone discovered a solution? In the meantime, word to the wise, if you rely on your Treo ... don't upgrade to the MS Office Beta (yet).
I have an Audiovox SMT 5600, which runs Windows Mobile 2003SE for Smartphones, and I'd like to sync calendars/tasks with my PC. This is normally done in Outlook, but I'm a Thunderbird user. Is there a desktop PIM/calendar/tasks package that can sync with a smartphone? I don't really need to sync email - I don't have a data package anyway. [more inside]
