A strange mismatch is going on between my Mac Contacts and my iPhone contacts.
Even though I'm using a single Apple ID on both machines, certain contacts exist on the iPhone but not the Mac and vice-versa. I haven't been able to find the explanation for this. [more inside]

How can I copy my phone book from my old Blackberry to my new Galaxy Nexus without uploading the data to Google, Facebook, or any other service? I have a Mac and a USB cable; this ought to be possible, right? [more inside]

Can you recommend a low-cost phone and a low-cost phone plan that will let me import my existing contacts? The contacts are in GroupWise (which can export to a VCF file), and I'm looking at some of the pay-as-you-go prepaid plans. [more inside]

I'm trying to find a way to synchronize Outlook Calendar (on Windows) with Google Calendar that actually works - as my current solution doesn't. Bonus points if I can sync contacts as well. [more inside]

I am trying to sync my Macbook's (Leopard) Address Book with my iPod Touch. The problem is that fields on the Mac like "spouse" and "children" do not show up on the Touch. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

imacs and palm pilots and windows systems - do they play nicely together?
i'm trying to help a friend figure out if his soon-to-arrive imac (his first mac since 85) will be able to sync with the calendar and contact software on a palm pilot. he currrently uses ACT at work (WIN), but is willing to change that to a different calendar/contact solution that will allow him to sync the palm pilot at home too, (and add info at home). any advice on simple solutions or best practices?

Cell phone question. Got an LG from Verizon -- but I suck at typing on phones, and the thought of entering the umpteen dozens of contacts I have has scared me from entering all but a few.
When I was on T-Mobile, you could add contacts online. Is there any quick and easy way for me to do something like this? I just want to type them, since it would take me six and a half years to enter them manually.
