I visited New Zealand recently (thanks AskMe for all the help with the itinerary), and happened to try a beer there - Mac's Great White Cloudy Wheat Beer. It seems that it is only available in New Zealand. Is there anything else that might replicate the taste?

I've been in Sydney for a while now but still dont have a favorite cafe-hang. Looking for recommendations, preferably but not necessarily in the Surry Hills/Newtown/Inner Westish area, where I could inconspicuously spend the better part of day ploughing through a massive book, with excellent coffee, comfortable seating and minimal distracting muzak.

I have inherited a watch that was purchased a few years ago for about $2000. It has rarely been worn and I think it has all of the box/paperwork with it (from what I can see from similar watches online), including the purchase receipt. My question is where/how can I sell it? Either by listing it online, but there seems to be so many websites, or in person via a second hand dealer or similar?
I've seen lots of watch websites, but are some better than others? Especially considering I don't have a profile or history on such sites. Thanks

I am seeking the name of a film, set in post-apocalyptic Sydney (Australia). I could have sworn it had Cassandra Harris in it, but IMDB disagrees. It was filmed and was set in in the early- to mid-80s, and had a bunch of people running around trying to escape the nuclear fallout that hit the Opera House and ended up in the northern beaches. The film wasn't necessarily good, but it resonated. Can you name the film? Thanks!

Sydney vs Melbourne as a pedestrian paradise: I am a sociologist doing a study which involves observing pedestrians/window shoppers/etc. I am based in New York City, which is fantastic for my field of work. In Feb/March, I plan to go to Australia for two months, to either Sydney or Melbourne. I have never been to Australia before. QUESTION: Which city has more of a "pedestrian culture"? That is, which is more of a "walking city?" (If you know New York City, my favorite place to observe is Union Square -- I am looking for a comparable location.) Would prefer a place filled with locals, not tourists. Thanks!

Sydneyfilter: I have a lot of written work to get done and I'd like to take a short break from Sydney to do it. I imagine writing in a quiet room with a view of nature, perhaps taking occasional breaks to stroll in a garden, through the bush or along a beach. Where can I stay that's relatively affordable (under $100 a night), accessible without a car, and no more than four hours from Sydney?

I went to a Japanese Restaurant in Brisbane a while back where each table was decked out with an induction cooker, and the patrons chose their stock, and cooked their own soup. The Chinese people I was eating with told me the style was called "Shabu Shabu". Does anyone know of a similar restaurant in or near Sydney CBD?

I've suffered from migraines all my life, but I've never see a neurologist for them. After a string of particularly disabling attacks, I'm considering asking my GP for a referral. What should I expect from a neurological evaluation? It won't be cheap, so I'd like to know more about what's involved and whether it's worthwhile, in comparison to simply asking my GP to prescribe triptans or other medications I haven't yet tried.
(Bonus question: recommend a great neurologist in Sydney, Australia?)
