My mom sent me an email today acknowledging for the very first time (that I am aware of) that she experiences symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder. My step-father died unexpectedly about two months ago, leaving behind my mother and my 13-year old sister. We are going through the 'normal' grieving process, but I am worried about my family and how they will get by. Is there anything that I can do to help and should I move closer to them? [more inside]

I'm at University and far removed from home geographically. My parents are planning on getting divorced soon and anyone semi-observant would've seen this coming years and years ago.
