Seeking stories of kids with superpowers?

I'm trying to make a list of books that include the central plot element of kids learning how to use or cope with unusual powers, dramatic or mundane. (Jumper, recently made into a movie, is one example.) Extra points if the books are primarily aimed at children or young adults.

What's it like to have ADHD?

What's it like to be a kid with ADHD? All signs indicate that my four-year-old son has ADHD (among other initialisms). Can any of you who have ADHD tell me what it's like?

I know, that's a weird question -- how can you say what it's like to be you and not be someone else? -- but maybe you've gained insight as you've gotten older. What do you wish your parents had known about ADHD? What did your parents do right?

Look, up in the sky...

How can my wife use her superpowers for good? My wife has this uncanny ability to remember obscure facts about people, especially famous people. She can remember faces with ease and can recall absurd amount of details related to the person.

For example, we'll watch a movie and she'll know that so-and-so was married to whosit, and their nephew was in watchamacallit, directed by that guy who is the ex of whosit's cousin.

It's all effortless on her part and the accuracy is sort of scary sometimes.

I was wondering how she can use here superpower's for good (e.g., helping people and/or financial gains).

Any suggestions?

Which superpowers rock?

Which are the coolest superpowers of all, and why? I have an ongoing argument with my 10 year old about which superpowers are awesome and which ones suck. I won't tell you any of my opinions or his because that might bias the responses to this question. So, help us settle it once and for all: Which superpowers are the coolest? Why? Which ones are totally lame? Why?
