I read this book of short stories years ago, and for some reason I remember most of the stories in it but have had no luck with Googling for it. I'm working on a short story, a sort of parallel to Inconstant Moon by Larry Niven, that involves the Sun going nova, and its effects on Earth's last minutes/hours/days. I'm starting to wonder if his description of what would happen if the Sun went nova is 100% accurate, so I'd like to pick it apart. Secondarily, what would happen if the sun turned into a red giant, instead?
