Dirty drover hat solutions?

Help me clean up my drover hat. I own a lovely Barmah Foldaway hat, chocolate "cattle suede." I also have a giant forehead and work in an overly-hot office. As a result, my hat has obvious stains on it from my giant sweaty forehead. I am disgusted and wish to fix this problem.

The Barmah site (and all the Googling I've done) just says "take your hat to the shoe store and ask them what to use on it." I'm not sure any shoe store around here would know what to do with my hat, honestly, and I'm afraid to mess it up (it was a gift from my MIL).

Anyone else have one of these hats? What should I buy to clean it up with?

Alternatively, if you're in LA and know of a place that will clean my hat for me without screwing it up, that would work too. Thanks, hive mind.

Who will clean my (suede) bag?

I've got a great new suede laptop bag, which I managed to get very very dirty last night (long story). Where should I go to get it cleaned? Dry cleaners around where I live say they don't do bags, and searching the yellow pages has proved fruitless.

I bought these suede moccasin slippers at Target back in November. My local store no longer carries them, and target.com says they are out of stock. Where can I find them (or at least shoes similar to them)? My shoes are pretty filthy. I figured since they were so cheap I'd just buy new ones, and now I can't find them anywhere!

I called the target.com contact number, and was told by a representative that they "only see what you see," aka, they see that it is out of stock but can't tell me when or even if they will get more in stock. I called my local Target, and they said they "only know what's getting shipped to us once it's shipped to us." I checked Amazon and eBay- no dice. Googling only leads me back to target.com.

Where can I find these shoes or shoes like them? "Like them" meaning suede, fur-lined (faux), tan with dark brown laces, and under $25?

Or, how could I clean the ones I already have? They're nice and dirty on the outside, as well as matted down on the inside. I assume a washing machine would kill them.

How can I clean lingering poison oak/urushiol residue off of my Timberland boots without damaging the suede? I know they sell leather/suede cleaner and stuff, but I'm more concerned about killing the evil poison once and for all.

Good experiences with leather/ suede cleaners in San Francisco? My wife has a great orange suede coat she hasn't worn in a couple years because it got a fairly big grease/ oil stain on it. Anyone have any good experience with a dry cleaner who does suede/ leather in San Francisco? Any other ideas on how about making the jacket wearable again?

How do I properly care for my new suede jacket? I've searched on Google and read about waterproofing, brushes, suede cleaners, etc. I want to know of any particular methods or products that you guys would recommend, and what I should and shouldn't do while wearing the jacket (and also while not wearing it) to keep it in good shape.

How do I clean a suede handbag? I have a small, beloved brown suede handbag that has faded a bit with (over)use. A quick Google search brings up everyone and their mom's method for getting stains off, but not so much with regard to restoring color. Any tried-and-true advice?
