I'm looking for examples of creative works which seem to have come from a place outside the artist's deliberate, conscious effort (be it the collective unconscious, drug-induced, the subconscious of the author finally culminating, whatever). [more inside]

What are some activities I can do to put me in a working subconscious state? When my conscious is up and about it just trips me up. It's great for parsing things, but bad for almost everything else, including getting work done or while I'm exercising.

Is there a word or concise phrase in any language that means "to walk away from a problem, and return to it later with the solution immediately obvious"?
Also, if there's a word or phrase (again, in any tongue) that means "the unquestionably perfect solution, so right that there can be no better answer," I'd like to know that as well.
