I have a 850va 425w UPS battery backup with only 2 outlets. There is a small server, speakers, home theater projecter, lcd monitor, and router connected to a power strip. The power strip and a desktop plug into the UPS. Is this setup safe? I am concerned about short 1-second interruptions caused by bad electrical connections rather than power outages.

SF Strip Clubs. A number of the North Beach strip clubs are owned by or affiliated with Deja Vu (NSFW). Is there a ticket/wristband available for purchase that gives you access to some or all of the Deja Vu clubs for the evening? Is there a good way to do cartoon speech balloons? I sometimes toss together cheap cartoons in an old version of Paintshop Pro. What's the best way of doing this, aside from hacking up something with an ellipse tool? Are there usable clip art samples out there I can import & paste? I'm sure there's a Photoshop plugin for this kind of thing, but I don't have Photoshop.

Hi, I'm trying to locate a web-based comic strip that I had read sometime ago. The main protagonist is a young girl who works in a photo developing shop/lab. One day a customer submits some gory photos featuring violent acts (possibly murder? ) and the girl decides to investigate the matter on her own. That is all I can recall. Does this strike a note with anyone else? Additionally, I would welcome recommendations for other webcomics that are favorites with the MeFi community. I enjoy stuff like PhD. and PVP. Thanks
