I'm the office punching bag - what do I do?

I'm working in an office job at a small non-profit. As a junior member of staff, I'm repeatedly being blamed quite aggressively for things that either aren't my job or aren't anyone's fault. Please help me stop freaking out about an abnormal pap.

I just had an email from my doctor that a Pap test was abnormal. I know that the problems are not uncommon (I tested positive for HPV for the first time, and had atypical squamous cells). They told me to schedule a colposcopy. I'm 36, and my mother had uterine cancer when she was fairly young (though unrelated to HPV or cervical cancer). I'm feeling freaked out, though I know rationally I shouldn't yet. Need some tips on how to focus on work and not stress out too much about this...I'm already anxious and having a lot of trouble sleeping for other reasons. [more inside]

How to tackle multiple goals or get shit done w/anxiety etc.

Sort of recently (about 2 & a half months in) moved to a brand new town so my husband (I'm, 29, he's 32) could go to uni. I was so stoked on having a clean slate to start everything anew, but not so much any more. Question for people with OCD

I was never diagnosed but it is pretty clear that I have OCD. I understand that irrational guilt, doubt, and anxiety are classic issues associated with OCD. Are there any tricks or ways that anyone can say has helped them to step back and evaluate circumstances somewhat objectively to decide if guilt and anxiety towards something is appropriate or irrational? I have found that explaining a set of circumstances to people whose opinion I trust and them telling me that my concern is irrational has only helped a little. Thank You. P.S. I have already set up a first meeting with a psychologist so that base is covered.

Anxiety/Stress: Has anyone had luck with Buspar?

I recently started Wellbutrin for depression, and although it is helping with the mood, my anxiety is getting out of hand. Small things stress me out to no end. I have tried benzos for short-term anxiety issues, but I would not like to get hooked on them. My psychiatrist recommended Buspar to be taken with the Wellbutrin, but my friend told me that he was on it and it was little better than a placebo. I would like to hear peoples' experiences on Buspar, with or without Wellbutrin; did it make a difference in your anxiety/stress levels? Should I give it a chance, or is it a waste of time? Are there any other medications that would offset the increase in anxiety that Wellbutrin is giving me? [more inside]

Toys and objects to deal with physical stress.

So there is the stress ball. That one I know. Does anyone have any other ideas for dealing with nervous energy from stress and anxiety in the office that won't bother people around you so much (esp those moments when I can't just go for a long walk or to the gym, etc). It’s a fairly routine problem for me that even after the stressor is long gone, the nervous energy sticks around. I don't so much need the 'take a deep breath' or 'think positive' type of thing, I might not even be actively thinking or worrying about anything; and I already have a good doc for the long term aspects. Just looking for some ideas about the tactile and physical side of this thing, which tends to stick around for a while and can be pretty uncomfortable.
