I've checked numerous places, but I can't find any credits for this Sesame Street "
Triangle Detective" sketch. Does anyone recognize the actors? They both look familiar to me but I can't figure out who they are. Any eagle eyes appreciated.

Is there a map available online of the boundaries of the cities around Los Angeles? For example, the map would show the streets where places like Culver City, Bell, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, etc. begin and end. Bonus points if the map shows neighborhoods within LA proper. Double bonus points if it includes light rail and commuter rail.

I currently live in a European capital (Athens) and I've noticed that the accordion seems to be the favored instrument of its street musicians (not exclusively Roma). Ditto for practically all other European cities I've lived in or visited. Why is it this the case?

I am looking for a chapter book I read as a kid in the 1970s/1980s in which a princess and her family have to move out of their ancestral home and instead rent all the houses on a street to hold all their things that used to be in the castle. It was kind of an adventure/mystery story after that, I think involving something with the family possessions. Anyone know the title of this book please?

I'm looking for early movie footage of cities, the kind where someone just set up a movie camera on a street corner and recorded people walking around. Preferably from as early in the 20th century as possible.

Trying to find a web page that allows people to search for info about different streets in Los Angeles, and the results display info on when the street was built and named (usually with a scan of the original document). I had this link a couple years ago, but have since lost it...

Our street in Chicago was just repaved, and in honor of The City that Works, we're closing it off on Saturday to throw a block party. We've got 100 feet of beautifully smooth black asphalt with a slight crown and a gradual west to east fall of about 3 feet or so, enough for things to slowly roll with a starter push. We don't have enough time to make soap box racers, but what else could we do with the street before it's ripped to shreds by snowplows?

Help me find some images of street elevations composed with photography. I saw some work done by someone of entire city streets (at least several blocks worth) of buildings, where he'd have to take images every few feet apart down the street so that when it was stitched together the perspective didn't become distorted, but I don't remember where it was or what his name is. There may also be lots of people who've done the same thing if I can only find them.

In Vancouver, BC, the avenues are numbered sequentially, except the street that should be 9th Ave is called Broadway. I thought nothing of this until noticing that the same is true in Eugene, OR. Is that a bizarre coincidence or is there more to it? I thought maybe it was the same in NYC but it doesn't look like it. What gives?
