Photograph print storage and archiving. I have several document boxes full of randomly sized and often somewhat tatty photo wallets, usually containing either 24 or 36 6x4 photos, and neg strips. I'm looking for a storage system to migrate these too. Basically, I'd like to take the photos out the old wallets, put them in the new standard card/plastic wallets, and then add/write some index terms on the top spine and cover. Thank you! [more inside]

So, I have nearly a terabyte of photos of my daughter stored on a computer which has been taken over by tr/crypt.xpack.gen (if that is your real name). It would probably be best that I store the photos on some sort of server somewhere (clouds?), but I know nothing of such things. Any advice on online storage, computer security, and not shooting in raw would be greatly appreciated. Please help, as we would rather not have to force my daughter back in the womb to recreate the photos of her birth. [more inside]
