I often find myself looking for very specific furniture or home decor products. For example: right now I'm looking for a square basket (or open container) with a drawer in the base that measures no more than 11 inches wide and 22 inches long, and I was wondering if there was a way to search for home products by size, shape, and dimension in the same way you'd search for clothes by size?
I've recently moved to a new apartment, which is low on storage. It has one small clothes closet, and this closet-esque room. It's been referred to as a "pantry", but we're keeping the litter box in there. I just moved one of these tables in so that we can use the space over the litter box. That space is a little over 29" x 29" x approx. 70". Does anyone have suggestions for shelving units or organizers that I can safely stack on the table to maximize storage there for light dry goods and miscellaneous stuff?
What's a not-hideous way to store three or four laptops in a dining room? Plus the occasional iPad, headphones, etc. Has anyone found a decent piece of furniture for laptop storage? [more inside]
So, I have boxes of vinyl records sitting in the bottom shelf of a built-in without much headroom. This means that every time i want to find a record, I have to pull the (heavy) boxes out onto the floor, select the record and then pull it back up onto the shelf. I would like to figure out a better way, ideally by installing a roll-out shelf (or set of shelves) for the boxes to sit on. [more inside]
One of my 17 year old Laserline CD towers broke. The one that broke held 400 CDs and my total collection is somewhere in the 800 range. I need one or more storage towers/racks to hold at least 400, and possibly all of them at some point. Besides being able to store a lot of CDs, the other feature it needs to have is "slots". Most current storage options for large quantities of CDs, are basically empty shelves for you to fill. My CDs are in a particular oder, so if one is out, I want to be able to see the missing CDs at a glance. Any suggestions?
I am looking for an armoire/wardrobe/closet to hang my clothes. Any inexpensive ($250 or less) and non-cumbersome recommendations? Also, will it damage my clothes if it's in the bathroom, where I'll be showering daily? [more inside]

I can't believe I'm asking this, but I want a magazine rack next to my toilet and can't seem to find one anywhere that doesn't look like it belongs at my grandparents' house. [more inside]
So: I've finally moved to the new place and set up the turntables and mixer that had been languishing in storage. I added Serato to the mix to make it interesting. But I find myself in need of furniture and equipment to complete things, and I was hoping for recommendations. [more inside]
