My new to me 2011 Camry didn't come with a bluetooth enabled stereo, but it does have an Aux jack, There are bluetooth adapters that work by plugging into the aux jack, and they seem to get universally good reviews on Amazon. The $15-20 price point for them is appealing. Does anybody have personal experience with them, for both streaming music from your phone and hands free phone operation?
What's the cheapest/simplest way for me to run sound from my iPod/laptop (3.5mm jack) to a stereo (RCA) about 20 feet away? If it were a shorter distance I'd just get a standard audio cable, but I'm worried that something like this will lose a lot of signal/fidelity. [more inside]
How can I get rid of the audio interference caused when I use a 12v charger with an mp3 player in my car? [more inside]
I'm going to be renting a car and want to make sure that my iPod can be hard wired into the stereo. Help! [more inside]
My older panasonic car stereo/cd player has rca cd-changer inputs but no aux in, is there some way to trick it to use the cd-changer input for an ipod? [more inside]
Car Stereo Recommendations: must have an aux input. Must have zen-like interface simplicity, and mostly pushbutton operation except for the few things for which knobs really make sense. A manual should be all but redundant for operation of this device. Would be nice if it has bluetooth built-in. Satellite radio is a plus. What am I looking for? [more inside]
Swapping a car's stereo head unit: I would really like to replace my car's ailing Blaupunkt CD player with a more modern head unit, ideally one with a front aux-in for my iPhone. Before I embarked on this I thought it would (should!) be as simple as popping out the old HU, slotting the new one in and simply reconnecting the connector block. [more inside]
