I read the first six Young Jedi Academy books, but only a few of the adult expanded universe novels... and the ones I read I don't remember. What should I read before the new movie comes out in 2015?

Are there any iPhone 4 cases that feature Han Solo frozen in carbonite that are sculpted/3d, and not printed?
The only one I've managed to find is
this, which seems a little dicey.

Which Star Wars novel features a scene where (I believe) Han Solo is using a telescope to look at a planet in another system, and can resolve it well enough to actually see what people on that planet are doing X years ago, where X is the number of light years that planet is away from the one he's on?

What are your favorite fictional holidays? This winter, my partner and I want to celebrate as many Christmas-like made-up holidays as possible. Our list includes Hogswatch (Discworld), Winter Veil (World of Warcraft), Crimbo (from Kingdom of Loathing), Festivus (which is increasingly less fictional), Life Day (from the Star Wars Christmas Special), and the Ice Festival (from Maria V. Snyder's fantasy books). Are there any more that we can add to our calendar?

Star Wars Nerdery: Once, an indeterminate time ago, I was reading something about the making of the original Star Wars models. They used a term (named for one of the model makers?) for a certain kind of detailing. More specifically, it was used to describe the horizontal trench running along the length of a Star Destroyer. What is this term?

Star Wars Episodes I, II and III disappoint me. For me, the they're in love with scenery and expense and try to make up for it with plodding exposition. They need editing. I think I would enjoy something like
The Phantom Edit. But how do I get ahold of it? Is it the best edit? Are there other fan edits of I, II and III that are worth seeking out? And how do I get and watch them?
