I am looking for a specific ad for Star Trek: Enterprise's Sci-Fi Channel reruns.. Also a question for fans of The OC. For reasons too long and boring to go into, my friends all call me The Captain, or any variation thereof. There is an ad that runs during the end credits of various programs on Sci-Fi that tries to illicit nostalgia, a sort of "Remember when...?" type ad, and at the end it says "And The Captain gets all the ladies"

I am looking to use the sample in a hip hop song. Anybody have a programmed TiVo'd with the ad, or somehow have it otherwise?

Also, there is an episode of The OC that I am told has the line "Welcome to Portland, bitch" when a rich kid moves to Portland where people are "real".. does anyone know specifically which episode this is, or could they even rip the sample out of the episode for me?

Where can I take a vacation for epic stargazing?

Where can I go for the awesomest stargazing possible? I randomly had the idea to take a vacation for the purpose of going stargazing. I understand that I'm asking for something contradictory, but what are the darkest places on earth that are not extremely difficult to get to? I want to see the milky way like our ancestors saw it before electricity. I've only ever seen the milky way in the sky once, in 1989, and when I visited the same spot in 2003, there wasn't a star in the sky (outer Tehran, for those curious).

Are there tours that cater to this desire? I'm based in Southern California and would prefer to stay in the western hemisphere if possible, but don't let that stop you from making your other suggestions.

Dogs seem to be easy to train to do tricks, cats, not so. I have taught her to eat treats off the furniture (and she often fluffs that) but not much else. She doesn't respond to commands or perform any tricks on demand. Can you give me hints or tips I might employ to make my cat become a star?

Trekkie/Trekker Filter: Should I watch the episodes of TOS in the order in which they were produced, or the order in which they were aired? I have decided to make use of my new iPod Classic by watching the original Star Trek, of which I have only previously seen an episode here or there (Mirror, Mirror and City on the Edge of Forever are the only ones I can recall off the top of my head).

My husband has organized them in order by date of production, but I'm wondering if I should try and capture the "watching it for the first time like they did back in the 60's" feel of the show by watching them in the order they were aired.

Or am I overthinking a pile of beans?

Is it possible to create a descriptor of 'star performers' that's not tied to contextual skillset requirements? The only common traits I've identified among people in completely different fields who've rather impressed me are [a] gets along with others effortlessly [b] gets things taken care of without making a fuss (again, the appearance of effortlessness). Are there more? Think of "that guy/gal" from your past experience and describe them to me, the more details the better. Thanks.

In search of free online tool for creating radial graphs!

Are there any free online tools for generating radar (aka radial, spider, star) graphs/charts? The ideal tool would be easy to use dynamically and/or against large sets of data to generate multiple graphs.

I know that Google Documents, for example, provides a lot of graph/chart options, but not this specific sort. On the other end, I'm solid with perl and aware of e.g. radial.pm, but I'd love to find a slick, existing start-to-finish tool rather than having to roll some or all of it myself.

Any ideas?

PC filter: Why did a gold star labeled "Favorites" appear on the desktop of my new laptop? I may have inadvertently dragged it there when I was trying to set up Outlook. If I try to delete it from the desktop, I get a message that it can't be deleted because it's a system file. Am I stuck with it on the desktop, or can I put it back where it belongs?

What are some good fictional Star Wars books to check out? Im kind of turning into a Star Wars nerd.
I grew up with the movies and always enjoyed them (born 74) but for some reason as late Ive become zealous in getting the toys, playing the video games etc.

Anyhoo, now I want to start reading the books that veer from the films storyline.
Id like to start with ones featuring familiar OT characters (Han, Luke, etc) before moving onto more EU stuff.

Where did my Picasa hidden photo information go?

I restored my Picasa data from a backup after a crash. Now none of the previously hidden photos are still hidden. Can I recover this automatically somehow? I had a hard drive crash and had to restore my Picasa 2.2.0 (Build 28.20.0) setup from backup. I used Windows backup, not the Picasa backup, and just restored the following folders:

%UserProfile%\My Documents\My Pictures
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google
%ProgramFiles%\Picasa2

Certain information (crops, captions, stars) is still attached to my photo library. However, all of my hidden photos have been unhidden. Is there a way to restore my data keeping the hidden photos hidden? I would hate to go through them one-by-one again.

Related: I like to take a lot of pictures, including multiple exposures of the same object. Obviously I don't want these all showing up in my album, so in the past I've picked the best and hidden the rest. So there's many hidden photos involved. A friend of mine uses the star feature instead (whereas I've used it just for my about 10 or so favorite photos ever), only exporting photos that are starred.

Do you have a suggestion as to which of these methods is better? Obviously stars seem to be a bit more resilient to backup and restore.

I previously asked these questions here and here. I didn't get many responses, so I'm hoping against hope that AskMe will come to the rescue.

Starfish Aquarium

What animals are needed in an aquarium to keep sea stars? What size tank? We'd like to start a saltwater aquarium (I have c. 15 years freshwater experience with larger tanks) for the purpose of keeping sea stars. We were thinking:

-acrylic tank
-live rock, live sand
-protein skimmer
-refrigeration unit
-hood/light/etc...

Our question is: what animals do we need to cohabitate with the sea stars to keep them healthy and happy? At the local Aquarium of the Bay, they feed them daily by hand - chopped up fish and squid - with only a few sea cucumbers living with the many sea stars.

Are other invertebrates/fish are necessary to keep them happy? They appear to eat snails, corals and urchins, so we should probably stay away from those (except for supplying prey). Do sea stars even need fish?

How large should the tank be to accommodate a few hand-sized sea stars?

I have come across this clothes brand logo (simplified imitation drawn from memory in Paint using a laptop mousepad), depicting what I believe is a star, a half moon and a spiral, in that order. I saw an Asian girl on the New York subway wearing this wonderful, stylish gray hooded coat that looked like fulled woolen cloth. The only brand information that I could see was the logo I linked to above, printed across the top of the hood. Anyone?
