Looking for alternative rubber stamps

Looking for rubber stamps that AREN'T pretty flowers or happy things. I recently entered the stamping world, thanks to my mother-in-law giving me all her stamping materials (most of which are Stampin' Up sets). I've been having oddles of fun combining the stamps, trying new techniques, and learning all sorts of things.

However, the one thing I haven't been able to find are stamps that aren't flowers, or bears with hearts, or flowing fonts, etc. More specifically, I'm looking for stamps of gothic images, swear words, skeletons, and other types of grim, depressing things. Yeah, this is totally opposite from the general theme of stamps, which is probably why my googling has turned up nothing.

I'm aware that I can make my own stamps, or have them commissioned, and I may take that approach if I can't find any pre-made ones. And I'm sure there is some overlap with Halloween stamps... but surely I'm not the only person who wants these stamps, right?

Where can I buy cheap paper to make my own greeting cards?

[Homemade Greeting Card Filter] I want to make greeting cards, for friends and family -- mainly for obscure holidays (and just to say hello!) But buying supplies at PaperSource is super expensive -- and stamps are not exactly cheap. Where do you buy specialty stock paper and other greeting card paraphernalia? [mi] I'm interested in cheap stock paper that might resemble the folded cards section on Paper Source. It's heavy, and bendable -- and comes in lots of colors.

I'd rather buy sheets of thick paper in different colors and cut them -- cheaper and more variety of shapes. Is there a place to bulk order paper?

Also, if you know of any cheap decorating tips or techniques for making really awesome greeting cards, please let me know. Specifically: stamps, glitter, beads, stickers, etc.

Doggie Footprint Art

I need advice about a craft project that will involve taking pawprints from my dog. I'd like to incorporate my dog's pawprints into a greeting card I'm making, but I'm a bit chary. To do this, I'd need a dye that's relatively cheap, that will set quickly in paper, that's water-soluable, that will wash off easily, and that (most importantly) will not irritate my dog's pads, or make her sick if she ingests it.

Does anyone have experience with doing this? Any recommendations about dyes (or substances to use as dye?) Is this just completely inadvisable? Horror stories welcome, as long as they're even minimally substantiable.
