I told my friend about an experience that caused me anxiety in the past. I felt that her responses were tone-deaf and hurtful. Was it? And should I say anything, even though the moment has passed? If so, what should I say?

Soo...I was doing a search on buses that run to Vegas and the next day, I get email from a couple of Groupon style websites I subscribe to toting their discounts on Vegas bus rides. Note that I did not enter my email address anywhere during my previous search. Coincidence? I think not. How did they make the connection and how can I prevent this type of internet sleuthing by companies?

Yesterday I received a text message from an excited stranger asking me whether I was ready for some sort of meet-up (possibly a first date) tomorrow (today). I duly yet tongue-in-cheekly informed her that she had the wrong number. Now I'm wondering, on a scale from stalker/freak/weirdo to fun/random/friendly, how inappropriate would it be for me to follow up tomorrow, asking if it went as well as she hoped? (Obviously in a humorous and "I'm aware of how random this is" kinda way)

OK, I'm pretty sure this issue is creepy, so, brace yourself.
The gist of the issue is that I'll be in public, at the store, the park, whatever, and I'll see someone who I find is very attractive ("wow, I can't believe how hot she is."). But, instead of simply letting that nice moment pass and continuing on my way as normal, I remain distracted, not really able to focus on what it is I was doing or was going to do, for a very long while, up to an hour or more.

I just answered a call from "Unknown number" on my iPhone. (Its my work phone; I sometimes get calls from blocked numbers.) There was silence, followed by three beeps and then the phone made the noise it makes when it is taking a photo, but no photo was saved. That ended the call. What the hell just happened?

I've got a cyber-stalker. This isn't a case of "OMG, he won't stop reading my blog!" The guy's got a very clear obsession with me and has been sending me long, rambling messages for about a year. He often brags about the amount of work required to find me online, and I'm concerned, based on things he's said, that he will elevate his research to finding me in person. What can I do to protect my privacy?
