I recently got a job that pays well with Medtronic (contract first, good signs for the future). I'll be paid handsomely and I need to start work on April 1st 2013 (or sooner). I have an apartment in Kalamazoo, MI until 5/01/2013. This is a 10 hour drive move, I have slightly less than 2.5 weeks to make it happen. What's the recommended way to do this, some combination of measuring, U-haul, gas cost, driving out there to check places out, figuring what to take, getting rid of the other stuff.... All that. I'm thinking Pods.com (based on Ask.Mefi post searches, along with friends and family, as of now). Input?

My parents have backlogged their timeshare weeks and are giving one of those weeks to my wife and me. No kids. We are trying to find the best place to go during the first full week of March. What are your thoughts of Jamaica (Montego Bay), St. Lucia (north part of island), Grand Bahama Island, Dominican Republic, and/or Barbados? We'd like to spend some days on the beach relaxing, but we also really enjoy hiking, getting outdoors, and doing fun activities (bike riding, scooters, scuba/snorkel, etc.). Also, we're interested in good food, though most of these places are all-inclusive. We are total Caribbean noobs so any advice on how to narrow down our choices would be great. St. Lucia looks the coolest (volcanoes!) but also would require the most effort on our part (renting a car and driving from one side of the island to the other). Thanks!

I'll be in St Louis with my girlfriend and her 8 year old daughter Sunday evening through Monday afternoon to hit the Zoo. We wanted to do one meal at Crown's Candy and one at Pappy's Smokehouse but they will both be closed by the time we get there Sunday.
Any scoop on good St Louis eats
open on a Sunday night? Any style is good, but rustic, homey and even "divey" is better (The girl is partial to BBQ, soul food, baked goods, Mexican and Italian). There seem to be many great restaurants, but the "open-Sunday-night" bit seems to be the challenge. Thanks!

YANML: I'm 25 years and 30 days old. I'm at a bar crawl in Pittsburgh. I just got denied entry to a bar on Carson St because my Ohio license is expired by 30 days.
What is the Pennsylvania law for a bar regarding alcohol service for a 25 year old with an expired ID? I.E. how can I avoid getting blocked for the rest of the evening?
Things to consider: Grace period for expired license, possessing multiple credit cards in my name (to verify identity) and obviously over the age of 21 based on physical appearance.
