Hand-On SPSS training and modules.
Hi all,
I've got a rough (and I do mean rough) working knowledge of SPSS. Books and the like.
I would, however, like to find a few places online where I could go through step by step and do various projects using SPSS and sort of train myself at my own pace.
Modules, perhaps? Something that shows me various projects and how to do them (ex. cross tabs, etc.)
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!

SPSS / Stats question: Its Saturday morning and I'm working on my dissertation. I'm also pretty much of a dumbass in terms of stats, and some of my usual sources of help are unavailable. Anyway, I've got 400 student scores from a test. The test was out of 100 points. So a student that got an 85 got an 85/100, therefore their score seems to be in the 85th percentile.

Survey software, survey tool to use with SPSS.
Hello fellow chums,
I am looking for a software program (preferably free - but also looking for one that has a flat fee) which can perform all sorts of surveys including open ended questions. The most important part is that I find one where I can use it and transpose it into an SPSS file to be sent out to others, or simply use it in SPSS myself and analyze it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? ...pretty please? :)
p.s. as an aside, can something like this be placed WITHIN a website with a fair amount of ease? [if this last question makes no sense, please ignore it]

SPSS is fine but produces offensively ugly figures. R has nice, clean output but is otherwise inscrutable. Statistica is, alas, Windows-only. Mathematica isn't really it, either. What statistics package should I use for OS X? [more inside]
