In the last few weeks, blue stains have shown up on my daughter's shirts after washing them. They weren't there before I washed the clothes. They don't show up on anyone else's clothes. I can't get them out. Any ideas about how to get the stains out and how to prevent other shirts from getting stained? [more inside]

I have never had an allergic reaction before so I don't know what to do. I just had hives that lasted for 2 weeks. I went to the doctor and they gave me some shots and it was gone in a day, but it came back the second week - I kept taking my meds so the hives are mostly gone now. Some spots were still kind of itchy but its mostly just dark marks on my face. I was wondering if anybody knows how to remove these dark spots on my face because I really feel uncomfortable looking at the mirror and seeing myself like I'm looking at a moon. [more inside]

YANMD. Yesterday I saw a flash in my left eye, and then saw a semi-circular line of sparkly white flashes for about 20 minutes, which went away suddenly. I went to the doctor, who had no clue what was going on. Another one of these things appeared - right eye, tiny spot right in the center of my vision, that has turned into another semi-circle as I've been typing this. What is going on? [more inside]

How do you get brown spots out of white furniture?
We have white dresser drawers that we just bought my daughter. They are high end wood dressers from a company called Pulaski. There is some kind of laminate on it because it is very smooth. We put a CD player on top of it and on the bottom of the CD Player there are little rubber like pads on it so that it will not scratch furniture. It is a common, regular CD player and the pads look common enough. Our own clock radio in our bedroom has the same kind of rubbery pads on the bottom. So anyway, it has been very humid, and within a week of buying this expensive set, I saw brown stains in the shape of the round rubbery pads on the dresser. How do I get them out? [more inside]

My cat killed a bird which I was unable to identify and I'm wondering what it was. It had a greenish/olivish tinge to its feathers but its breast and underside was white with black spots. Its beak was similar to a doves. [more inside]

Mysterious recurring spots on a four-year-old. His pediatrician's not in the office today and it looks like today's batch will be faded by the time the after-hours pediatric clinic opens. [more inside]

How do you deal with brown spots on roses? I'm posting for my mom and sister who are non-professionally doing my cousin's wedding flowers for tonight. Some of the flowers have brown spots - is there any way to deal with this? Cut the rose petals with scissors? Google is yielding nothing but, "Don't use flowers with brown spots."

I wear lots of silk knits and I love to cook. Sometimes I get olive oil spots splashed on the knit and I can't seem to ever get the spots out. I wear an apron but the stuff is sneaky.
How can I get those spots out of my silk knits?

How can I stop touching my face? Whenever I am sitting still and concentrating, and sometimes when I am anxious or nervous, I touch, scratch and otherwise fiddle with my face. This is not good for me, and results in any small spots/blemishes getting much worse and inflamed, and they stick around for longer than they should. Please help me break this habit and help me get prettier!
