So, I've been really loving spin class lately. However, the timings at my gym are such that I can only go 2 times a week. I'd like to spin 3-4x a week. Can you recommend any audio workouts (podcasts, etc) that simulate a spin class experience?

Doing my first (sprint) triathalon in about 6 weeks and need to start looking into gear. I don't have real bike/spin shoes yet, only good sneakers, and I'm ready to bite the bullet and get some. Anything specific I should know before I go into the store and ask someone knowledgeable for advice? Are there different types or are all bike shoes pretty much equal? (For instance, I'd love if I could get one pair and it would work for spin class + both the bike and run portion of the tri.)

My boss has challenged me to complete some sort of marathon workout at his gym. I'm not very athletic, but if I can finish, my boss will buy all his employees an expensive steak dinner. I need tips -- especially as to what/when to eat. The workout is at 8pm tonight.

My very first post-college job has little resemblance to the one for which I interviewed. In a couple of weeks, my trial period is up. I do not intend to take the option for employment. How do I spin this in future interviews?

Many people, including myself, read personal observations and see references to current events in literature that do not reflect the authors thinking on a subject. An example is the Robert Frost poem Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening as being a reflection on suicide. Frost has denied that this was his reference. Some current book and movie viewers and some reviewers also see references to current United States politics in current books and movies. Revenge of the Siths and the latest Harry Potter novel are examples. What is this called? Can it be recognized when someone is putting spin on a work that the author/director never intended?
