I've just bought a pair of Clic glasses that open at the centre of the frame, held together by a magnet. Is there any reason why I wouldn't want a Neodymium magnet on the bridge of my nose?

I'm thinking of buying my next pair of glasses online. Does anybody have any online glasses retailers they would recommend (or recommend against)? And is there any thing else I should know before buying glasses online? I live in the UK but have frequent visitors from the US who can easily carry a pair of glasses, so places that ship to either country would be fine.

Spectacles only? I got a copy of my glasses prescription from my eye doctor, and it says "Spectacles only". I have an existing copy of my contact lens prescription, complete with measurements. If I keep the same numbers but substitute the new sphere measurements, can I order contacts with this prescription?
