Stuff along the lines of the Beijing Olympics opening ceremonies, or this British Airways commercial, even art made from holding up placards at football games. What is this even called if I wanted to google it? Mass spectacles didn't give me anything. Thanks!

And where can people who love seeing jaw-dropping power get fired up by green technology without having to develop an appreciation for boring economy? [more inside]
Hi All. I am doing research on old Coney Island, Dime Museums, and the history of disaster spectacles. Do any of you know of any books or sources where I could find out more information or, better yet, images relating to these topics? Thank you!
