What's up with 774-8283? This appears to be a spoofed phone number calling to harass people at random. How are they doing this, and what can be done about it? Question about American phone calls, probably won't apply internationally. [more inside]

A spammer is sending out spam using MY email address and name as the sender. I am getting hundreds of bounced emails now. Is there any way to stop this from continuing, or happening in the first place?

I want to report a spammer, but I am having trouble figuring out where to direct my complaint. I have googled this and looked at a lot of anti-spam sites, but I still have questions. [more inside] [more inside]

A client wants to send bulk email. What's the best software? Is there a way to get address lists of people who might be interested in the product (shrink film), or do you just buy lists wholesale somewhere? Will I be lost to the Dark Side and land in the spammer's circle of hell if I set this up for them?

Is anyone keeping an updated list of "referral spam"
-vertized websites? My referrer logs are being overrun - it's hard to keep up with all the new spammer sites that seem to pop up.
