OutlookFilter: where the heck are my message headers? [more inside]
I'm getting lots (I mean lots - over 50 today alone) of phishing/Trojan spam purporting to be from Facebook, asking me to "update my facebook account". How do I stop it? [more inside]
Is there an easier way to select a group of emails in Outlook and extract their header information to a file or to the clipboard - together, all at once? An Outlook plugin perhaps? Outlook's method sucks because you can only get one header at a time via right-click and view options. I've got a load of spam that I need to send to my host for investigation.
I'm using Outlook 2007. It keeps trying to send spam emails! When I start it says that it has 980 messages to send, and once it's done one it'll say it's sent 1 of 981 etc and so on (this happens when I have it offline and let it run for a bit). I've run a few virus scanners and they've all come back saying it's clean. What's even more annoying is that my other computer has also started doing this. [more inside]
I'm using Outlook 2000 and the built-in"keyword" spam filtering is a joke. ("viagra" is on my list, and a search of my inbox finds 29 emails with that word, even after running the rule manually.) What are people using on the client side to filter spam with Outlook (using POP, not Exchange)? No challenge/response, please, as this is used for business. The free-er the better.
SpamFilter: My Dad is using a Mac G3, OS 9.2 with Outlook Express. He is in need of a good anti-spam program. He is a smart guy, but not the most computer savvy. I use Mailwasher on my computer (PC). I think it would be good for him (easy to use, straight-forward interface), but there is not a Mac version. Any recommendations?
I've had to give up Thunderbird and start using Outlook 2002 (in order to sync my calendar and tasks with my phone and pda) and now my workflow is being bogged down by spam. Help me inside... [more inside]
A question about SPAM. It's a new trick and I'm wondering how they do it. (more inside.) [more inside]
