I'm looking for tips and recommendations to improve the audio/video quality of online meetings.
We already have good connections/machines for online meetings - but as I'm doing more and more of those, I'd like to specifically improve experience of everyone - especially for sound & video.

Going to buy a new computer and connect it to already-owned surround speakers and HD monitor. I want to be able to play Blu-Rays with nice HD sound if possible. I'm an HD, HDMI, Blu-Ray and recent-PC-hardware virgin, and will need to be led through this like I'm a kid.

Disappearing sound on the computer. ONLY on Hulu, YouTube, playlist.com, but not mp3's. Complication: not having administrator privileges to deal with it.

How do I add an additional audio track to a .avi movie file in OSX? I downloaded a full length movie, it had stereo channel audio, but one of the audio tracks was still missing, possibly the center channel that was lost from a surround sound mix when it was bounced to standard 2 channel audio. I now have the missing audio file and need to add it to the other two.

TV show episodes ripped to iPod via Handbrake (aka MediaFork) are dropping audio 3/4 of the way into the file. Arrrrrgh! Has anyone found a reliable way of overcoming it? Or do you have a better program to recommend?

When I record video on my Nikon Coolpix 4500, the sound is a fraction of a second out of sync, which is enough to turn every family video into a kung foo movie. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?
