Is there a way to quickly check if a certain song (or artist) is on Pitchfork's list of the top 500 tracks of the decade? I've been Googling to try to see if anyone has posted a plain-text version of the whole list on one page, but I haven't found it. [more inside]

Let's have bizarre celebrations

I'm compiling a list of the best songs of the 2000s. The ones that aren't just "Ah, that's kinda nice," but that you have to stop yourself from listening to on a repeat loop. The songs you'd make sure to put on a mix CD for a friend who hasn't paid attention to new music in this whole decade and wants to know what they missed. (This is for a blog post.) [more inside]
