Song-ID-filter: On This week's episode (10/29/2016 with Steve Young) of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me there was a song used as bumper music right after the Limericks section. I'd like to hear the whole song but Google is not helping me find it from the lyrics that they played. [more inside]
Alternative/rock song, a guy with a deep voice singing, kind of slower than a typical indie song, it sounded a bit depressing. The singing was kind of muffled but the only lyrics I heard clearly in the chorus were "for tonight I say goodbye" and the very last line of the song was "For tonight I say my last goodbye" and he kind of slowed down for the very last line. This song is playing in the background of a trailer for Scandal (diffused in France, link here. I've heard it before, years ago, and can't for the life of me remember artist or title. Thanks!
I have part of a song stuck in my head. The lyrics I can remember are something that sounds like "A A, B B - CCDD, CCDD" - that is literally what is being sung, it's not the rhyme scheme. Who is the artist and what is the track called? [more inside]
It's sung by a woman in some kind of retro rock-y style that I can't quite articulate. It's a list of foods that girls either.. like or don't like, and the chorus is about popcorn.. I think. Challenge: pretty sure this is from a Portland, OR band, as I heard this on the local Portland-centric radio station KZME. [more inside]
Please help me identify this song; it's a funky house track that samples both Ice Cube's "It Was A Good Day" and Three 6 Mafia's "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp." [more inside]
Name this song: female singer, sounds kinda new, on an indie radio station. Lyrics say something about "the worst" or "what's worse?" and "people say I'm _____ because I have no plans to settle down." [more inside]
Overheard a song while my wife was watching NCIS:LA last night and now I can neither identify it nor get it out of my head (the former may help with the latter). [more inside]
Help me identify a new country song I heard about a month ago on the Don Imus show. [more inside]
SongIDfilter: "This American Life" tv show, season 2 episode 2, "Two Wars": what is the song playing over the last 2.5 minutes or so, as the "Grassnost" story's family eats dinner? [more inside]
Please help me identify this song, so I can buy it from Amazon and listen to it a thousand million times and maybe someday put it on a mix cd!
Hivemind, can you help me identify this song? Beat : strong, very danceable. Vocals : female, thick (like honey). For part of the song, she ends each line with "uh huh." I feel like it's a (recent) popular song, but every time I hear it, there's too much ambient noise for Shazam! to identify it.
What song do the chorus' lyrics/melody of New Villager's "Rich Doors" bear a striking similarity to? (Link to listen inside.) [more inside]
