Hi AskMe. I'm losing my mind. I heard a cover of the Boney M disco song Rasputin on Pandora a few years ago. It came up in rotation a few times, but I can't find a version that matches the one I recall, either on my channel thumbs-up songs or on a Pandora song title search. I can't find it Googling 'Rasputin cover.' It's not the Turisas version, but it's similar. [more inside]

Introduce me to mindblowing covers. I'm interested in cool, unconventional cover versions that turn cliched songs into something new entirely. [more inside]
The Rework. I'm looking for examples of the self-cover in a different style, i.e. a reimagining, where the musician reinterprets their own song in a new genre. Is this a thing? [more inside]
I remember hearing a Nina Simone cover of Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne" several years ago. I can find two versions of Nina Simone covering the song on the Internet, but not the one I remember. Help me, please! [more inside]

Greetings, there was a cover of The Cure's Just Like Heaven on YouTube, sang by a girl. It was a slow version, beginning with a line of vocals, before the guitar swooped in. She used a Samson G-Track mic. I listened to it once before it disappeared. I do not remember her name and the video is gone. It was great. I want to hear it again. And again. Anyone remembers?
Recommend some two-piece music groups (guitar + drums preferred). Examples: The Black Keys, The White Stripes, An Horse, etc... Goal is to find songs to cover with only 2 people. [more inside]

This is going to be a bit of a longshot, but when I was in Japan a few months ago, I heard a cover of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" sung presumably by a Japanese female, and I've been trying to find it ever since. [more inside]
Can you help me find this vaguely-described song featuring/based on a cover of Britney Spear's Toxic? [more inside]
