New to the US but not to software engineering- help advise my husband.

My husband just moved to the US and so is not so familiar with the local software engineering scene (actually, not so familiar with the scene at all as he hadn't even visited the US before this). I'm American and can guide him a little, but not too much because I'm not in software or a related industry. [more inside]

Do I need the 32-bit or 64-bit Oracle client?

I'm migrating a data-driven web application written in classic ASP from a development server running Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) and a previous version of IIS to a new development server running Windows Server 2008 (64-bit) and IIS7. I need to install the Oracle 10g client on the new server to connect to an existing Oracle DB, but that DB is served on a machine running 32-bit Windows. So which version of the Oracle client for Windows should I install, the 32-bit or 64-bit version?
