I drink a lot of diet soda. I tend to buy it in one of two formats: 12-packs of aluminum cans (which come in paperboard cartons), and individual two-liter bottles. If I were to buy one format exclusively and recycle the packaging, which would be the greener choice? [more inside]

I was drinking a tasty ginger ale today and wondering why it's so uncommon. Although you can find it in virtually any store in the USA, it's seldom available in gas stations and almost never in restaurants. Yet it's very popular on airplanes. Why is that?

I have noticed that several softdrinks have tasted salty to me lately?? Anyone experienced anything like this? Maybe my tasted buds are going through a change, but I haven't noticed any difference in food tastes...
