What is the best liquid-based foundation for combination/oily Asian skin

I'm southeast Asian (Filipino), with deep yellow undertones and a very shiny T-zone. I need help finding a liquid-based foundation that both matches my skin tone, and helps control oil. I do not like using BareMinerals, because the powder gets all over the place, and I have no patience for cleaning brushes. What are the brands that I should be looking at? [more inside]

Oh just pass me the spackle already!

What are the best foundations for my skin? In particular, ones that don't make my skin look even worse! Basically, I have oily skin, black heads on the nose and chin, and frequent breakouts in the t-zone. I also have a ton of broken blood vessels around my nose and mouth and larger veins around my eyes and temples. More info on my regimen after the break... [more inside]

I've been negligent about my skin for the last 10 years.

What should I be doing for facial skincare as I approach age 30 (gulp)? I have been really lax about taking care of my skin properly since I left my acne-ridden high school years behind and now I am growing concerned that if I don't change up my regimen I am going to look like a haggard old lady well before my time. Help! [more inside]

Dry skin and Avocado oil: My wife has excellent results with with an Avocado oil based product designed to prevent dry and flaking skin on her face during winter. What can I do to get rid of the scar (even medical procedure info welcomed) AND hide it in the meantime. [more inside]

My wife has fairly severe contact dermatitis on her face. She has tried several different types of "hypoallergenic" brands of makeup, including Almay and Neutrogena, but they all give her hives. Are any made-up MeFites familiar with brands/lines that will not cause her allergies to flare up? [more inside]
