I'm looking for the website of an Eastern-European, I think, designer & typographer who designed some cool-looking Western (cowboy-style) fonts with a former-Soviet-satellite flair. The site had scans of some of his sketchbooks. Anyone?

Anyone know where I can find a print quality (near 300 dpi) source of Da Vinci's "Vitruvian-Man" that can fill an 11 X17 poster? Baring THAT, does anyone know of a site that has print quality downloads of famous arts works that are in the public domain?
