Hi, can anyone give me an approximate time scale of the shuttle service between the TRE Centreport Station and DFW Airport?
If I've read it correctly on the airport's website, the shuttle leaves every 15-30 mins from Centreport, then I change at South Remote Parking for the shuttle to Terminal D, which leaves every 15 mins. But I can't find even a vague idea of how long these trips will take so I can decide which trains to catch.

LAX is the closest airport to where I am staying (near USC). Planning on flying in on a Saturday (Mother's Day weekend) and leaving Tuesday. What time should I time my flight to arrive so as to not be in traffic for hours? [more inside]

I'm heading to a conference in Athens in the spring and need to get from the airport in Atlanta over to Athens. There are a bunch of services listed on the airport website for regional shuttle service. I'm not picky -- I almost always use a basic shuttle service to get from the airport to a hotel in town, but I've never had as far to travel before. What's your preferred company?

Wedding transport help. A friend of mine is getting married and I'm helping arrange logistics. We're going to have the guests all park in a public parking lot about a mile from the site of the wedding (which is at someone's house - there is no closer place than this parking lot to fit ~100 guests' cars). The question is how best to get them from the parking lot to the site of the wedding? More details below. [more inside]

Half-remembered-poem-filter! About a decade ago, I read a poem (written by a woman, I'm pretty sure) about the Challenger disaster. I distinctly remember that she conveyed the concept of their atoms spreading into nature. Now I can't find it anywhere, and I hate
when I can't find something on the internet! [more inside]

Dad, brother-in-law, and I are going to the Cincinnati Reds game on August 27. We want to get a hotel close to the ballpark, and since Dad's got some knee issues, we're wanting to find a hotel with shuttle service. Any recommendations? We'd just like to be able to call the hotel and get back and forth without hailing a cab, or without having to drive in the mess getting out from the ballpark. Thanks!

About 12 months ago I saw what looked like a long-exposure shot of a shuttle launch, at night, from a high vantage point (possibly a helecopter). My efforts to find it since have not since located this stunning shot, despite searches of the usual, common-sense general and subject specific sites.
Would the hive mind be able to help with this?

I've just bought a second-hand Shuttle XPC computer with an Nvidia sound card. One fault is bugging me: no sound through the analogue audio outs or headphone sockets on the front or back, even when the operating system volumes are set to maximum. However, I have been told that the previous owner used the optical audio out. Is it possible that he could have disabled the analogue sound somehow? If so how might I re-enable it?

I live in Chilliwack in BC and find myself wanting to go to the Vancouver airport pretty frequently. I'm really interested in a shuttle service ala SuperShuttle that will take me to the airport and then home but have so far only found AirportLinkShuttle
which hasn't worked out for me yet (I was the only rider last time I wanted to use them which means they charge double). Is there some solution for getting to the airport that doesn't include renting a car, or buying a second one? I'm open to car-pooling, public or private transportation - any help?

Macmini alternatives. I was considering purchasing a Mac Mini to make it a relatively inexpensive home media center, but after upgrading the hard drive to 80GB, adding Bluetooth for a wireless keyboard & mouse, buying the wireless keyboard & mouse, adding 802.11g for home networking, etc the $499 price tag was closer to $850 or more. Can anyone recommend a Windows box manufacturer who makes small form factor PCs for this kind of application?
