I am a Canadian who is going to be going down to Bangor, Maine in a couple weeks time. One task for the trip is to find shoes for the wedding. I have really difficult feet to fit and I was hoping to get some suggestions for places to try. (Suggestions for plus size clothing stores that have cute/retro/fashionable would also be helpful.)

I have had my eye on
these shoes for months and despite the price tag, I'm tempted to bite the bullet. Can you help me find some comparable shoes at a lower price point?

I'm shopping for shoes and have a wide foot. Last I looked,
Zappos had the best search option for filtering out shoes that would not fit me. Alas, I live in Canada and apparently
Zappos Canada recently stopped business.
What are my options in Canada for a good online store that has advanced search options like Zappos? Perhaps my only route is going onto company websites - but the only companies that I know for sure have some sort of width measurement system are: Rockport, Sketchers, New Balance....

I'm in NYC, and I want to take my girlfriend shopping for a nice, sexy, classy pair of heels. Think high-quality leather. Only problem? I know nothing about womens' shoes, shopping, or shopping for womens' shoes. Could you recommend some good stores to check out?

For the 10th time in a row, I've bought shoes that are too big, and wear them out after I can return them. What are your best methods on making large shoes fit better?

Where should my bridesmaids and I go for dressy shoe shopping in Seattle, besides Nordstrom? The girls want to find some silver shoes, pumps or peeptoes, heels not super high, and under $200. Local/indie/boutique stores are especially good.

How can I buy a pair of shoes only sold in the UK?
There is a pair of Clarks that I want but the model is only available in the UK. The website will only ship with in the UK and the US retail stores can't order them. I have an email into Clarks UK and I'm awaiting an answer.
I don't know anyone in the UK so I cant ask them to buy them and ship them.
Is there a way I can buy them and get them to New Jersey? Some sort of shipping relay?

I've fallen head-over-heels in love with
these gray boots from the Sundance catalogue. I love the color, the heel, the shape, and the overall style. They feel
very me. But they're almost $300 when you include their exorbitant shipping fees. Ouch. Any suggestions on other similar boots or how to find these elsewhere?

What's the shoe website that shows you thumbnails of about fifty shoes and, when you click one, assembles a new set of thumbnails that are more similar to the one you clicked? I don't think you can buy off the site.

I have been looking high and low (without luck) for this pair of sandals--I know they exist, because I saw someone wearing them before I became intent on getting a pair. Oh, how I wish I'd asked her where she got them!
It is a sort of boho-thong sandal with a flat ring that sits between your big and first toes. Thin cords make up the side straps. For a really crappy sketch, click
here. Pardon my drawing skills.
I would prefer a physical store (instant gratification, you know,) but online stores will satisfy my shoe-lust as well. I have googled the world over but have yet to come up with anything close enough.

I need to buy new boots. Requirements: comfortable (I'll be wearing them 70-100 hours a week), medium grippyness (Canada has all this frozen water half of the year), shinable, black, plain looking. I'd like to avoid spending much more than C$200.

I'm going crazy trying to find the Nike City Knife II sneakers I wrote about
here (yes, self-link, sorry).
Niketown sent me to Paragon. Paragon sent me to Niketown, or online. Google sent me to my own site! I'm going apeshit!
These shoes must exist, they must: my web buddy Rik Abel spotted them in Brighton (UK) of all places. Since AskMeFi has been so remarkably efficacious in the past - accurate responses, response time on the order of ~10 minutes - I figured I'd give you guys a try before packing my quest in entirely.
