Meow! How do you walk quietly in kitten heels? Something like
this or
this? Is it a trick of sizing? Of walking a little differently? This would be my go-to style of heel for many occasions... if I can hide the slap-clack slap-clack sound which is a bit too much like $2 Walmart flip-flops.

I have some really nice boots that I'd like to keep for at least a year, and I'm already ruining the heels. Help me figure out how to keep them from wearing down.

I'm in NYC, and I want to take my girlfriend shopping for a nice, sexy, classy pair of heels. Think high-quality leather. Only problem? I know nothing about womens' shoes, shopping, or shopping for womens' shoes. Could you recommend some good stores to check out?

High Heeled Shoes: I got two pair at TJMaxx recently, same brand - Tahari. On both, my heels kinda slipped out of the back when walking, but I normally put these Dr Scholl's heel liner things on the inside of all my heeled shoes and that fixes that problem. However, this only worked on one pair this time. Please hope me be able to wear these awesome shoes.

Being mostly a t-shirt and jeans type of girl in Southern California, I usually wear flip-flops or chucks. But when I go to a nice event I do want to do it up, so ease me into this business of heels!

Asking for a friend: She needs to dye/paint these white satin
Badgley Mischka Lilly pumps a saturated canary/butter yellow for an upcoming wedding. She can't find a place to color them for her. Have you dyed satin shoes before? How did you do it? What to know?

Without fail, the soles on the heels of my boots wear down unevenly. The outside part (the edge) of the heel on each shoe wears down more quickly than the inside part, so each shoe become lopsided. How can I prevent this?
