I'm in a fairly new job where I'm preparing packages to be shipped, perhaps hundreds in a week. I hand them off to people who send them out via Fedex and US Mail, both domestic and international. I have to assess the best price to ship, get it packaged and hand it off. I'm getting blowback from not getting this right. What can I do to learn to be a shipping ninja? [more inside]

I'm looking for good, sturdy, eco-friendly shipping options for soft goods - mostly clothing. Something that won't fall apart or soak through before the customer receives their item, but also something that won't sit in a landfill for 400+ years. [more inside]
