My small company is providing a web service for another organisation. One single username/password combo will be used to access the system. Either -- how should we distribute this combo to the 5,000 tech-illiterate members of the other organisation? Or -- what's a better solution? [more inside]

I'm trying to find a calendar-based list program, where I can make a list for a given day in the future, and check off once things happen. One caveat, I need it to be viewable, but not edited by other people. ie: TeuxDeux.com would be perfect, but it doesn't allow for any read-only access. Standalone or web-based is fine, or if something like this can be done inside MS Outlook, that would work too. I looked at the Daily Task List in Outlook, but it doesn't seem to be able to work with shared calendars. Any ideas?
Brother MFC-J270W. It shows up on my home network as a shared PC called "brother"

- This facility is not mentioned in any documentation I have been able to find
Does anyone know what good this "feature" is?
How can I listen to an audio file (and stop and restart) with a colleague far away, so we can hear it simultaneously and evaluate it? Something like Team Viewer with audio? I've been trying Audacity, holding my cordless phone to the speaker for my colleague, but it's very tiring for me and hard for him to hear. I have an iMac, one colleague has an iPad, other a Windows PC.
Ok, so I'm living in Chicago with a few of my SO's old roommates from college. We've known them for less than a year and I can admit maybe we jumped into a year lease too soon. However, what recourse do we have right now? [more inside]
I own a Kindle associated with my Amazon account. For his birthday this year my son received a Kindle Fire, which we decided to also associate with my account so that he can share access to the books I already own. All was well until he realized he could add things to a wish list. I took his first round of wishes and added them to a new "Son's Wishlist," and when he's shopping for books my son can choose which wishlist he wants to add them to. But physical items can apparently only be added to the default wishlist (mine) and I haven't found a way on the Fire for him to move them. As a result I regularly find myself sorting dozens of collectible cards and other items from my list to his. Have any of you found a better way of dealing with this?

I wonder how feasible it might be to start organizing a shared man cave for me and my suburban buddies. Most of us have no room to commandeer a room in our respective homes for such purposes. We get together 1-2 times per month to play poker and maybe 1-2 per month to watch a sporting event. Sometimes both at the same time. Since none of us are country club types (with country club money), this shared man cave idea might have some legs.
Assuming a studio apt could be rented in a local apartment complex, what would you put in it?
TV, cable, internet, bi-weekly cleaning, poker table all come to mind. What else? Also any logistical or legal considerations would be appreciated.
Disclaimer: No need to banish the wives; they could use it for their get togethers, too. Just using the term "man cave" because it is familiar to most.

Please help me figure out if I'm being unreasonable to want more than a "handshake agreement" between my condo association and our neighbor to have that neighbor a) build a fence that b) straddles our two properties and c) wants us to pay 1/2 of the construction costs for, and that d) we'd "co-own and maintain."
