Lost my endurance

I have never been in good shape from a cardio-vascular perspective but something is getting much worse for me now. I am roughly fifty pounds overweight and when I go to exercise I find that I can't make it for very long whether that be jogging, using the elliptical, or biking. [more inside]

Search furnishings by size?

I often find myself looking for very specific furniture or home decor products. For example: right now I'm looking for a square basket (or open container) with a drawer in the base that measures no more than 11 inches wide and 22 inches long, and I was wondering if there was a way to search for home products by size, shape, and dimension in the same way you'd search for clothes by size?

Calculating interior angles of an irregular hexagon?

I'm trying to create a 3D model of a six-sided area of my garden. I know the lengths of each side. Is it possible to work out the exact angle of each corner? Here's a link to a rough picture - note that the labels are correct but the sides and angles aren't to scale. [more inside]

Getting into Shape

Does anyone have any suggestions for working out and dieting that has worked for them? Although I do not have any health problems (knock on wood), I would really like to get into shape. I typically use the elliptical at the health club and I enjoy running out side except I tend to get shin splints. Not sure whether anyone has any book recommendations that helped motivate them? I can't stand how I feel and look as of late, so I need to do something drastic. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Beard trimming/shaping services in Austin?

My beau has decided he'd like to neaten up his beard, and I suggested finding a professional to do it the first time. (After that, it'll likely be easier to maintain.) Any recommendations for a beard trimmer or shaper/men's grooming salon/private individual in Austin? (Obligatory beard-and-kitten picture.)

Goruck Training...Scared & Out of shape.Help!

So, my buddy signed me up for a GoRuck Challenge in May. So, my predicament is that im about 25 pounds overweight, can jog at best a total of 10 minutes, and im not that muscular (Can do about 15 pushups and no pullups). Im 38 and dont have the $$ to join a gym or crossfit. Can someone help me with putting together a workout Monday through Saturday to help me get ready for what looks to be the toughest 12-14 hours I will ever go through? Is it possible to get into incredible shape in 3 months? Is this GORuck possible for me, I dont want to chicken out but am I reaching to far here?

How can an obese person get in shape for basketball?

So I'm obese, I use to play basketball in high school (I fluctuated from slightly overweight to normal weight in high school), but because of depression and anxiety, I ate my feeling and I have gotten obese. Now I'm in grad school, and on the track to losing weight, and I want to play intramural basketball. I play pickup games sometimes with some classmates and other people at the gym, but I'm so out of shape, I end up walking a lot of the game... I wasn't sure if I wanted to play intramural because I'm so out of shape it's frustrating/embarrassing not to be able to do what I use to in high school... but I decided that the only way I can get close to how I played in high school, is actually to play more. I've been doing Power 90 for the last 2 weeks, and it's helped a bit with getting me in basketball shape, but since it's not geared to get you into basketball shape, it won't get me where I want to be. Any suggestions? TIA

how to use this idiom?

I'm learning English. I wonder what's the difference between.."keep in good shape "and "stay in good shape". And when someone said,"I'd have given anything to keep in good shape.", do you get which he meant, "to keep his good physical condition" or " to keep his good figure"? My question is odd?
