Should I tell them before sex?

I have Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. To summarise its effects, I look like a normal girl on the outside, but my vaginal canal is considerably smaller than most women's. This makes penetrative sex with men, until my body gets used to it, very difficult. This has never been a problem because, until recently, I only slept with women. However, now I want to pursue sexual relationships with men. The first time I went to bed with a man, we knew each other well so he was aware of my condition and what it meant. However, I recently went home with a man I don't know that well yet, and didn't say anything and limited our activities to fooling around. However, this is not what I wanted: I wanted everything but intercourse. In order to deal with this issue, I could: a) Avoid clothes-off situations until I know a man well enough for the fact that I have AIS to be stated naturally. Not tempting. b) Before any intimacy, tell the guy in question about the fact that I have AIS. This would almost certainly necessitate mentioning it well before I would with any new friend. c) Tell the man that I simply don't want penetrative sex, and not say why. This is OK, but it is reasonably obvious to all but the most inexperienced that my vaginal canal is different from other girls'. So, my question: should I do (a), (b) or (c) (or a (d) that I haven't thought of). If (a) or (b), how should I go about doing the telling? With friends, it's easy, but I can imagine that a few straight men might have a problem with being intimate with someone who has XY chromosomes, and I should think that most will need to process it.

Tell me about sex

So, I'm a 22 year old male, straight virgin. I used to be really nervous and self-conscious around women, but lately I've gotten a lot more relaxed. I've started doing some online dating, and it seems to be going fairly well. I've had relationships in the past, but nothing serious or sexual, but I think that's going to change soon. I could use some advice. [more inside]

I’m in a relationship and I think we have conflicting expectations. How big of a deal is this?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for a few months now and it’s managed to get pretty serious relatively quickly. We now live together, though not “officially” (she technically lives with her sister) we’ve already established daily routines. I really enjoy being with her and love her dearly. Hands down she is the most complete woman I’ve ever dated and I feel we both compliment each others lives nicely. However there are a few places in our relationship where we struggle and I’m having trouble resolving it. Sex: My libido is higher than hers. I prefer to have sex 5-6 times a week while she doesn’t prefer anything over 3. We’ve tried finding a middle ground (maybe 4) but this often leads to arguments because we both end up feeling under-appreciated. Down Time: After a long day at work, most of all I want to sit and talk with her. Not necessarily about anything. Just to relax. She prefers to sit alone and read a book or a magazine. This often leaves me feeling alone. Lately, I’ve been going to workout and hangout with the fellas as a way to mitigate this issue, but it only helps a little. Romance: While I’ll openly admit that I’m not the most romantic person in the world, I do try. She mentions that our relationship could use a bit more romance but when I do so, it seems as if it goes un-noticed. She’ll appreciate it at the time, but it seems after a day or so, it is simply forgotten about. And finally - The Past: Her theory on the past is whatever happened back then is irrelevant now. I mostly agree, but some things I want to know about simply for curiosity’s sake. This mostly leads to arguments however. With all of that said, I’ve begin to take the frame of mind that all of these concerns since they are not “deal-breakers” I’ll just deal with the best way I know how. I love her and I don’t want this to end but there is the thought in the back of my mind saying “maybe we just aren’t compatible”. Is this thinking rational thinking or am I just being petty. I know a relationship is hard work, but how hard is “too hard”? How do I resolve this?

Why can't men keep their hands to themselves?

My ex wants me to come over and find out where we're at in our relationship. We were in a long distance relationship that ended a few months ago when I was intimate with another man (no sex, just so you know, but enough to make it cheating). When I told him, we swore we still loved eachother, but decided break up so we could have a chance to grow, and start again when we lived in the same city (likely spring '06). Since then I've found clarity, come to terms with the nearly unbearable guilt and done my best to change the part of me that went wrong. Come to find out he's been busy....very busy...with many women where he lives. I made a mistake, I know that....so it confounds me that he says he loves me but turns around and does all that stuff with all those girls? I'm very in love with this man, and I want to believe in him so badly, but I can't understand how he can hold such a double standard. Is it just too much to ask of a 24 year old, to actually live the lifestyle he expects of his partner? Is it a Man thing, that you have to get action? And, in light of all this, can I believe that he loves me or am I playing the fool.

As a man, is there any way I can use my health insurance to pay for birth control pills?

I'm about to start my first salaried job, and will therefore have health insurance. My girlfriend has none. We'd like a method of birth control that's safer and more effective than condoms, but neither of us can afford birth control pills out of pocket. As a man, is there any way I can use my health insurance to pay for birth control pills? If not, what are my other options? [more inside]

Have you ever initiated sex while you were asleep?

I'm trying to figure out if this has happened to anybody else.

Last night, in the dead of night, my boyfriend pulled me on top of him and started kissing me and started trying to take my pajama pants off, ostensibly in the hopes of getting laid. I was really tired, so I told him to lay off and let me go back to sleep. This morning I asked him about it and he has no memory of doing this. It's happened before- he'll wake me up in the middle of the night by kissing me, and in the morning denies it ever happened.

I actually think it's pretty cute and funny- and especially ironic, considering he is not the most affectionate guy.

What I'm wondering is, is this normal? Has it ever happened to anyone else?
