Customer service platform that suggests canned responses

We're a small business currently using just a shared gmail account for our customer service inquiries. We're looking to switch to software better designed for this usage. I've been checking out Frontapp.com, freshdesk, zendesk., desk.com, salesforce, and others. One feature I'm having trouble nailing down though, is for the software to automatically search for certain keywords in the incoming emails and suggest canned responses we have on file based on what's found. Which platforms can do this?

Sprint Samsung S7 Troubles

Would love any advice on how to deal with this situation: two months into a new S7 and the phone stopped making and receiving call. 2 hours with phone tech support and no luck. "Go into the shop and they will help you" I was told. Upon arrival i was told that it would be $75 dollars to assess or swap phones. After some arguing they agreed to try a hard reset. No luck. They said you can deal directly with Samsung if you dont want to pay us 75$ to do so. [more inside]

A refund for HVAC job that didn't take?

Long story short: I called an HVAC company that I used to work for because our boiler was having issues. They came out the next morning, gave me a deal on the labor rate, and reset the whole system. Less than 12 hours later, it's on the fritz again. I feel awkward about asking for a refund because they gave me a deal and came out right away, but they only temporarily fixed the problem. Should we or shouldn't we ask for a full or partial refund? [more inside]

I need an executive vp for my house.

Does this service exist -- an executive vice president for your house? Someone that you hire, and say to them, "I will give you $1000 a month, and you come in and do stuff to my house. Repairs, gardening, decorating, etc. I don't have to direct you, because you are making all of these choices yourself. Do you think the back bedroom needs to be painted? Then you do it, as long as you stay inside the monthly budget." [more inside]

Jewish memorial service and shiva for the gentile.

My good friend's mother passed away and they are having a memorial service at a temple and a shiva. I know the Christian protocols, but am wondering how to proceed. Is sending flowers appropriate? I understand bringing food to the shiva is customary (I know they do not keep kosher), do I bring it with me or take it ahead? Any other guidance here would be appreciated. My friend is quite distressed and I do not want to bother her with these questions at this time.

Frontier FIOS problems. Service, router, or...?

We recently moved and chose Frontier (formerly Verizon) FIOS for our Internet service since the other option was Comcast. The service is the lowest tier (50/50) but we were coming from DSL with lower speeds and it was fine so we were expecting it to be OK. And it is. Sometimes. Other times it is really slow to unusable. Like, the airport on my Mac won't even connect to the router sometimes. Sometimes it will connect but I have to wait 2-4 minutes for an URL I typed in to load. Sometimes it goes up and down, disconnectng and reconnecting our wifi devices every few minutes. And other times, like right now, it's absolutely fine. [more inside]

US tax deduction for donating a third-party service?

Recommend helpdesk solution for chat and e-mail support with ticketing?

I work for a small eCommerce company that provides customer support via live chat and e-mail, and relies heavily on it. The people who chat with the agents are not necessarily people who have bought or sold anything or even used the site yet, so being able to ask questions in real time could help them decide whether to use our site. We would like to implement a helpdesk solution that does chat very well and can provide good analytics so that we can assess agent ratings, why the customer contacted us, and issues that are driving up volume. It also has to be a third-party cloud-based solution because we don't have the resources to set it up on our own system. Do you have any recommendations? [more inside]
