Help me see God of Carnage!

How do I get a good deal on a big Broadway show? I hope that by getting a jump on this, I can secure the best price/seats as possible. I will be in New York at the end of October, and would love to see God of Carnage, which is currently playing at the Berrnard B. Jacobs Theater on Broadway. At broadway.com, they charge some hefty processing fees. I know that there are discount sites, but I am unsure which ones are reliable. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks.

A car with a high seat?

Cars that have seats like minivans? My dad drives a 1998 Toyota Camry. The car runs well but he has trouble getting in and out of the car. He also dislikes the way he has to sit in the car (legs stretch out in front).

There's a Toyota Sienna van in the garage that he can use, and he likes the way it seats him like a normal chair would, but he won't drive it because it's too big and doesn't get good enough gas mileage.

Are there any cars on the market that have a high seat position without the compromises of Minivan/SUV size and weight?

I've looked at getting him a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV. However, I've seen there are new cross-over models coming out like the 2009 Toyota Venza crossover.

Are there any used or new model cars that have good, high seats?

Is there a Japanese car -- subcompact or compact size -- that has heated seats as an option? (I can't seem to find one among the new models.) If not, why not? We Northerners would certainly pay for this feature, but it looks like you still have to get up to the Accord/Camry size before they are an option!

What are the best seats at Wrigley Field?

I am traveling to Chicago in April to see a Mets-Cubs game at Wrigley Field and want to get good (though not necessarily expensive) seats. For those who have been to Wrigley, are there any seats you would definitely recommend? I have a feeling that sitting in the bleachers might be a cool experience, but I am not sure what the atmosphere is like out there, with regards to finding/keeping a seat and having a good view of the game.

It's a day game, if that matters.

Also, I am planning on buying the tickets off StubHub, unless you can recommend a better channel.

how good are the cheap seats at an NFL game?

Please help me decide which seats to buy for a Dallas Cowboys home game. I've never seen a Cowboys home game, and I'm about to buy tickets to the 10/14 Pats game. The tickets are quite expensive, and I would like to purchase the least expensive tickets that will let me see the game well enough to enjoy it and be engaged.

I am looking for people who've been to NFL games and have an opinion about upper deck, corner, or end zone seating, and have recommendations.

Seats with a view?

I'm flying from Geneva to New York tomorrow - what side of the plane should I sit on? I'm checking in online so should be able to choose a window seat with a decent view (ie towards the back so the wings don't obscure too much). Obviously there are many factors, such as the weather, the routing, the takeoff and landing runways etc but the flight is in the daytime and I enjoy watching the world go by beneath me. I'm tending towards sitting on the right side facing the direction of travel - does anyone have any thoughts. Or doesn't it make the slightest bit of difference?

Finding the best seat in the centre

How do I get the best seat for a single Clippers game at the Staples Centre? Help me get a good deal... Going to be in LA for the night of the Raptors game (12/20). I could buy online now from a place like this or I could just head down there that night and brave the scalpers. All I want is a single (relatively good) ticket. How close do Clippers games get to being sell outs?

You have a ticket for no seats.

How can I have an airline ticket yet not have a seat? Last time I flew on an airplane (major U.S. carrier; international flight to the U.S.) I had a surprising thing happen. When I checked in, I was told I would not be allowed on the flight since I did not have a seat.

I asked them what they meant. The woman at the counter said "You will have to fly standby, since you don't have a seat."

I showed her the ticket, which was for that flight, departing then. She said "Yes, you have a ticket for this flight, but you do not have a seat, so you can't fly."

I asked, "Well, how do I get a seat, then?". She told me "You need to contact your travel agent about that when you buy the ticket."

I had bought the ticket four months before on Expedia, which mentioned nothing about having to buy a separate ticket (in addition to your airline ticket) to be allowed on the flight.

I was sent somewhere with a dozen other people in the same boat as I was, and we were told we would be allowed fly "standby". I got on; some others did not.

I had called the airline two days before to confirm the flight and they told me all the details and mentioned nothing about buying separate "seat tickets".

So, my question is, how do I avoid this happening again, and where do I get these mysterious seat tickets?

The ole switcharoo!

Ticketfilter: It is possible for me to switch my seats with someone else's if it's Will-Call only? With blind luck, I ended up with front row seats to the Tom Waits concert in Memphis. They are Orchestra Pit Row 1 and I called the Orpheum to confirm they were indeed the best seats in the house. My brother also ended up with seats, but way back in the back row of the balcony. Basically, I want to show up at Will-Call with my ID and credit card, get the tickets, and then give one to my friend Jim, and one to my brother. Then I want to sit in my brother's crappier seat. The kicker is, we also get wristbanded. Are the wristbands going to differ (like maybe in color) for the different seats in the house so that when he tries to sit in my seat they'll tell him his wristband says Balcony? Should we all just go in, sit in our assigned seats, and then switch once the show starts? I even thought of us trying to switch our armbands if they are colored but don't want to take the chance of breaking them and not be let in at all. Am I being paranoid that anyone is even going to be paying attention?

Where should I sit?

ConcertSeatsFilter: I neurotically, obsessively bought two tix to the same concert at Madison Square Garden in an effort to get the best seat I could. Both are good for different reasons, so I'm having a tough time deciding which one to use. One is in section 1 row N seat 5 - 14 rows back!, but section 1 at the Garden is way off to the side, creating possible sight AND sound problems. The other is section 6 row R seat 9 (sections 1-4 are directly in front of the stage, so section 6 is behind section 2. This puts me roughly 45 rows from the stage, but closer to the center). So, wise mefites, I ask you - which location will make for the most mind-blowing concert experience? Which one would you use? Extra credit if you happen to know how the seat numbering works at the Garden - is seat 5 in section 1 5 seats in from the center aisle or the outer aisle?

Alternate seats for 2000 Ford Explorer

Anyone know of a source for third-party/aftermarket seats that can be safely installed in a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport?

The "factory" seats in the truck aren't very ergonomic at all, and give my wife pretty bad back pain even on moderate (~150 mile) drives.
She's got a 1200-mile trip coming up in two weeks, and I'd love to find a solution other than "keep using a lumbar support pillow" which is barely adequate.
My Internet searches haven't turned up anything at all, and a "truck accessories" shop I went to in Austin (I'm now in Houston) said "Sorry, we can't help you."
