Good Job, Hit the Ceiling Quickly, Looking for Advice on the Next Steps

Looking for advice. I have a great job, great quality of life, but no career potential whatsoever. I want to move jobs and stay in my industry but have been told alternately: too expensive, not qualified or way-too-experienced-for-entry-level. Snowflake details (and tl:dr) inside. [more inside]

What do I do about 15 years of Google search history?

Applying for a new job- but what to do about a planned vacation?

After years of being on the fence about leaving and gritting my teeth while putting up with a shitty work environment, I'm ready to start applying for jobs. It's taken me a long time to get brave enough to do this, so I'm pretty happy that I'm going to pull the plug! But I feel like I can't start applying for positions because of an upcoming vacation, and I'm not sure what to do. [more inside]

How Can I Help My Mom Help Herself?

Hey Mefites, here's my question: My younger sister, mother, and I suffered years of abuse at the hands of an alcoholic stepfather - physical, verbal, etc. When we were younger, my sister and I were absolutely focused on getting the fuck out and did, getting scholarships to great schools, thankfully. My mom, not so much. She is no longer in a relationship with him, but they have been living together for economic reasons - she needs his disability paycheck to pay the bills (all of which are in her name, including the mortgage payment.) How to find scraped product reviews on my own sites.

lost and found (sort of)

For the last few years I've been getting an interest statement for some treasury bonds I inherited. I never gave them much thought, other than at tax time, but now I'm curious. All the form has as the payer is a Federal ID number. Is there any search I can do to see who it is that is holding these bonds? Thanks.
