I was,were,will be confused!

is there a grammar checker out there that will check my documents for consistent tense? I have a teacher who's a real stickler, and even if I go over my paper with a fine toothed comb, I always miss one or two. Does anybody have a program I could use to save myself some points in class?

What's a good way of deciding if I should wait a year before applying to grad school?

What's a good way of deciding if I should wait a year before applying to grad school? I'm in a surprising circumstance that my music career might be somewhat sustainable and potentially profitable, and with many of the new opportunities coming at me, I wonder if my plans of going to grad school could be placed on hold for a year. What's a good & rational way to decide? [more inside]

Should I retake the LSAT?

Should I retake the LSAT on Saturday? I took the LSAT in September, and got a respectable score: 166. However, I scored much higher on practice tests (averaged 173). I know it's common to score lower on the actual test, given the real testing environment and conditions, but... [more inside]

Which Central / South Amercian country speaks the clearest form of Spanish?

I'd like to attend an immersive language school -- but would like to learn to speak a relatively region- and dialect-free form. I recently heard a Bolivian Spanish speaker on the radio-- and his Spanish was beautiful. It's possible this is an entirely STUPID question I'm asking-- as any language may sound like mush coming from the mouths of dolts. But-- I tend not to be attacted the sound / clarity / speed of Mexican Spanish or the pronunciation used in Spain. ANY SUGGESTIONS? ALSO-- there are specific language schools in Central / South America would recommend? THANK YOU!

I am interested in taking some graphic design classes so that I can learn the techniques and skills needed to get a good job in the field. help me make friends and not look like an ass!

Starting my grad school program next week (clinical psychology, PhD) and am joining a cohort of 7 others. Any suggestions on things to do (or not do) when meeting and getting to know people I'll have to work with for the next six years? I'd like to be friends with them, especially since we have all our classes together. But the chances of such a small group together so much so stressed without conflict seem doubtful to me. Other psych grad school advice is welcome too. Thanks!
