I'm a law student in Ontario, just about done 2 years out of 3. I absolutely hate the academic aspect of it, and I'm pretty miserable. I didn't particularly enjoy the practice experiences I've had either, at 3 different legal-aid type clinics working as a student in family law, criminal law, and landlord/tenant matters.
I have invested a lot of money into pursuing this law degree. Should I be giving serious thought to finding something else to do with my life as soon as I graduate, or should I stick it out and work my hardest to try to get a paying job in the legal profession, in the hopes that I will be able to pay off my student loan debt?

Trying to identify the mythology books I was given over the summer in grade school in the mid-seventies. They were definitely curricular, I think even had characters like Sam (a boy) and Nip (a dog), perhaps there was a girl named Jane but I may be confusing her with the other series we all know. I'm not a teacher, just want to re-visit them for nostalgia's sake.

Are there any universities/colleges/institutes that have an all-in-one program for video, photography, print and web design? My online searches have come up fruitless as most programs seem to be separated out. Location doesn't matter, nor does degree/diploma/certificate received. At the end of it I want to be able to shoot, light, edit, etc video and photos and understand and apply colour theory, typography, page layout, etc for print and web designs.

I have an bachelors degree is business but want to get my masters in education. I'm applying to Hunter College's School of Education in NYC. What are my chances if I do not meet the admissions requirements for an undergraduate major in liberal arts or science. This is a link to the admissions requirements page:
In general, what are the chances of getting into a graduate program? What do admissions look for when selecting prospective students? Are Hunter's graduate programs for education competitive to get into? Can I lower my chances of getting acceptance if I submit my application too close to the deadline?

Boy brought home this ancient science book from the school library. I mean, so ancient that it was just flat out false. (It was about global warming, and had been written in the 80's and 90's. It was hopelessly out of date.)
When I talked to the librarian about it, she said that they had almost no books newer than 10 years old, and that more than half the collection was over 25 years old. It is one of the oldest library collection in North Texas schools.

Here's the deal. I graduated with a useless history degree and am having trouble finding a job. I'm now 24 and need to make some changes asap so I'm not doomed to living with my parents until I'm 90.
Question: is returning for a 2nd bachelors in Engineering ever a good idea, in terms of long-term financial stability? Or is going for a masters in accounting or nursing a better choice? I really want to look at this financially and get my feet under me.
