I've charged with adding a feature to a shift scheduler / coverage requestor that displays shift information for a given week. I've been able to display them so as to satisfy the constraints I've been given, but it's got me wondering wondering if there's a more rigorous/mathematical approach to the general problem of organizing the display of any such calendar information. I have been scouring the web for a way to get easily-available local-area movie schedules via RSS. Yahoo, Google, and IMDB all present perfectly decent HTML of this information, and there is one My Yahoo to RSS service; sadly, it's ad hoc and frequently fails to set the localization cookie. What am I missing? This should be a revenue oppotunity for the studios and theaters - where is the sweet creamy RSS I crave?

I've tried to get myself organized many times but I'm still always staying up late and missing deadlines. I use a planner, but I think I need more structure (scheduling internet usage, etc.). Should I get a more detailed planner with daily schedules? A PDA? People must have dealt with this before planners and PDAs; are there any other strategies that don't involve buying something?

OlyFilter - Is is just me or is it downright impossible to find out when (and on what channel) a particular Olympic event is going to be on television without finding out the results? In this age of tape-delayed television, but with non-tape-delayed internet results, what is a man to do? Specifically, I want to watch all the Mens Basketball games that are on TV. Anyone have a list? I know there is a game on today (I think at three...) but I'm afraid to look for it online fearing spoiling the results.
