What days of the week are job interviews most commonly held on?

In the process of requesting a favorable schedule at my part-time job that allow me to interview for positions on my days off. I'm just going to assume that these interviews can last a full day, so I don't think there's a chance I could work and interview in the same day. I am seeking a position in marketing research. If I should need to work two to three weekdays, which days should I request off? My guess is that employers are usually busy the beginning of the week, Monday and Tuesday, so maybe most interviews fall later in the week. Thanks for your help!

schedule of daily events

I'm looking for an app that will create a daily schedule of events (for a conference). Needs to be able to: be displayed on the web, display multiple events throughout the day (hour-by-hour) – some events happen concurrently, link each entry to another web page (event details), and be able to be used by non-programmers. See sample of ideal look here Google Calendar comes close but it does not seem to have the ability to link individual entries to outside webpages – and it compresses all events that happen at the same time into a very narrow column so info becomes unreadable, and, of course, each person viewing needs and account.

Individual online appointment scheduler?

There's lots of great online software for allowing multiple participants to vote on the best single meeting time. There's also software that will allow people to book individual appointment times from a calendar. But I'm looking for a resource that will allow me to invite people to pick from an assortment of specific dates/times to schedule individual meetings with me. For example, let's say I have only ten one-hour blocks of time that are available for meetings next month. What online software will let me invite multiple people to choose from among those ten blocks, so that I am notified who picked which time, which is then not available to the remaining people?

I both require and recoil from structure. Help?

I have recently realized that, without some kind of structure in my life, I am not going to be successful (in terms of career and money). The times that I have had structure (college) have been my most successful and productive. However, the idea of structure sends me running, fearful of losing the freedom and flexibility to do what I want, when I want. I can see rationally how this aversion has hurt me: My freelance business is dying, I'm out of money and I'm not much further along in my "career" now than I was when I graduated from college 10 years ago (I'm 35). It's obvious to me that not having an income will restrict my freedom and flexibility even more than structure would, but this knowledge doesn't seem to make it any easier to bite the bullet and make myself a schedule or apply for a job. How can I give myself the structure I need without it hurting so much? Or, alternatively, how can I cope with the fact that it will hurt, because I know it's a trade with a net-gain? I'm already working with a therapist on this, but I'm looking for personal experiences with similar issues. What techniques, books, videos or anything else have helped you? [more inside]
