Hi Everyone
I would like to see a list of all the GPS and Glosnass that my iPhone 5 is receiving with their signal strength. I have searched but cannot find.
(This is similar to a app on the Garmin GPS)
Thanks
BB

I have satellite internet service with a monthly download/upload allowance of 15 GB. I am a heavy Microsoft Office user. With Office 13, apparently there's a web-based subscription option, and it sounds great (5 licenses vs. 1). But will constant communication with the servers eat away at my monthly allowance?

UK TV filter: Please Help me fix my TV antenna signal. I've recently moved into a new shared flat & am trying to get our TV to work. In the bedrooms there are regular tv aerial sockets on the wall, but there is no signal to any of them. In the lounge, there looks is
a panel with three satellite plugs (picture link) which has an old Sky box connected. We would like to use freeview, but it looks like there is no antenna plug in the lounge, and no signal in the bedroom sockets. The sky box does however seem to get a satellite signal from its plug on the wall, but none of the others will give a freeview signal (or are the wrong kind of socket).

Could you help me understand the structure and entities involved in DirecTV installation? This information I need pertains specifically to DirecTV, not to any other company. I'd like to know about the relationships between DirecTV and the companies and people who do the installations, and how the money flows between the various people and entities.

I am interested in alternatives to traditional cable/satellite television. We only have one really bad cable provider in the area that I do not want to get cable from. Satellite TV is not what I want either for a variety of reasons. Netflix, iTunes and Amazon TV don't offer the shows I am interested in like Discovery Channel, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, news channels, etc. Is there a way to stream this kind of programming from the internet? I am willing to pay for the service but I cannot find anywhere legitimate to get something like this from. Thanks

Why are satellite photos upside down? When looking at satellite pictures of cities in the northern hemisphere on Google maps, buildings that are leaning away from me are leaning towards the bottom of the screen. This gives me the impression that I'm upside down. The feeling is very strong despite my poor description of it. Is there a particular reason satellite pictures are oriented this way?

I want to download a bit of Landsat data - two small countries worth - but can't find any way to efficiently do this via GloVis or elsewhere. Where can I just select places on a map (or use my GloVis-exported) scene list to download these in bulk? Given 200MB/scene and the 80 scenes I need, it'll be 15.6 gigs downloaded (and likely around 40 unzippped), but that's not the problem; there just doesn't seem to be a way to do this.
